How many kilobytes can your heart hold?

My name is Hannah and I was born twenty-two years ago. I live in a country with more than 7,000 islands. Unfortunately, we do not have snow. I am trying to finish a degree in Clinical Psychology while working part-time in a BPO somewhere in Makati. Children are the apple of my eyes. If you see me listening to music, I'm probably listening to Jason Mraz. Philippine Literature and Historical fiction interests me. Cute things bring out my girly self. ISFP.

I’m watching the news right now and I am really disturbed at the report of a high school girl who was raped and then brutally killed. Although this is a grave crime, most of us have grown “callous” over this kind of bad news… This one really affected me, though. The news video showed the father of the girl walking around the grassy area while retrieving his daughter’s things, all soaked in blood — her school ID, a necklace, etc. While doing this, you could hear him crying out loud. All he could say was, “anak ko, anak ko (my child, my child)!”

I can feel the hair at the back of my neck stand. Why do sick people like that girl’s murderer/rapist exist?
