I have a crush on someone from my work place and we have become really good friends over the past few months. One of the things that I like about him is that he writes really good stuff, and last week he asked me if I wanted to read them. It turned out that we have something in common — we both like to write down our thoughts in journals (not online blogs, mind you).

He was thinking of sharing it with some close friends and I mentioned that the best way to do that is to post them in a blog. He asked me for a good blogging website, and I suggested Tumblr. I showed him some of my favorite blogs here, and he liked it.

Yesterday, he told me that he already made a Tumblr blog. I know I’m stupid for not thinking about this, but he’s asking for my Tumblr username in exchange for his username. There is NO way that I’m giving him my username here, especially when I’ve written several posts pertaining to him and how I have a crush on him! I don’t want to delete those posts, but I really want to see his Tumblr blog.

Darn. What should I do? :/

If there’s anything I like about the nature of my job, it’s being able to celebrate two sets of holidays — Philippine holidays (double pay!) and American holidays (no work!).

It’s Memorial Day on Monday so it’ll be a long weekend for us. Me and several other co-workers are planning on spending our weekend in Baguio. I’m going to be honest: I’ve never been there. It’s crazy, right? It’ll be my first time in Baguio and I’m expecting that it will live up to my expectation (super cold weather). We’ll be back here in Manila by Monday. On Monday evening, I am going to spend the night with another set of friends at a hotel somewhere in Ortigas. I’m trying to make the most out of the few weeks I have left of my summer vacation, before the classes start again in June. I’ll be saying hello to sleepless nights again :(

If I have opened up to you about a problem with tears in my eyes, it means that I really trust you, and that I am willing to let my walls down just to share my story. I was hoping that you wouldn’t put that trust to waste, but you did. I can only count a handful of people that I really trust, and you were one of them. Too bad you failed to think about that.

…And then people wonder why it’s rare for me to allow anyone to get past the ‘acquaintances’ stage with me.
